Wow...
I've been in are england since the 10th of march..and its been an absolute blast. these people really are as crazy as we think!! But they definately know how to show someone a good time. I've been out a couple times, seen a concert, been on a train, watched soccer (of course) and seen my fair share of english television!! Its been an absolute blast, couldn't have asked for more. I'll be back in the states tomorrow evening if you've been tryin to get ahold of me. if not, you should be!!! I miss you all and can't wait to tell you all the details...some juicy, some not!

Well, Its February and I have spring fever already...
In December, i went back home to Helena for a couple weeks. Got some fantastic news on Christmas that my older sister, Toni, is pregnant, and is due in August. That was very exciting. Then just after christmas, I went to Boston and saw the rowdy gang from CP. I had an amazing time visiting Jenny and staying at her house, saw maja and bridget, along with a bunch of others. Had a really great time. Then, after that trip, I headed down south to Phoenix to see my grandma, aunt, cousins and others. IT was fabulously warm and pleasant...went to Houston for a few days as well to see Dad and the kiddies. Basically, i was everywhere. Finally, It was back to Junction to start school. Me, Emily Chelsea and Ryan (my three roommates) went to Aspen with our friend Nick to watch the Winter X-Games last weekend. Had a wonderful time, went to see Damian Marley (yes, Bob's son) and a few other bands in concert. Watched some snowmobile racing, some crazy skiiers and snowboarders doing some crazy things. This is my first semester with out any soccer at all AND ITS GREAT! i have so much time to do things I WANT! hang out with friends, run errands, actually stay caught up in school. Spring is coming, its been pretty warm here already in February. Gettin through this spring will be tough, getting exciting (already) for the summer and going back to my CP FAMILY. and also, my trip to europe in may. BUt...to help me get through, i'm headed to England in march to visit my friend Danni for a week...missed her too much to wait til may..also, baseball season is starting here at Mesa and our team is great fun to watch, so that should be good. Also think i'm going to bust out the golf clubs at some point here soon. So life is great for me right now. I promise i'll keep up with this thing this spring....let me know what you think...

welll welll welll...
soccer is officially over. done, finished..we won our last game 3-0...it was a nice sendoff...glad to be done though.
Then came halloween. me and my two roomies dressed up as baseball players..we had a great night, we went out with the soccer team and had a blast. these days its just gettin through school that keeps me busy.. tryin to finish up this semester and head to the home stretch, last two semesters. I plan on graduating in dec. '06..can't wait. Next summer i'm planning on going back to maine, but first i'm headed to england in may to see some special people. Very excited about what is in store for me...future looks great and so WIDE open.

The end is near(er)...
Well i have four soccer games left. Time's a tickin away. Feels good to finish one part of my life and move on to the next. Its been a great ride, but I'm ready to jump off. This week was fall break. We had monday and tuesday off. Last thursday, we left Junction and went to Pueblo, Colorado, where we lost on friday 4-2. we played alright, but not well enough. friday and saturday we just hung out in denver, and then sunday we played Colorado Christian and won 2-1. we scored wiht just over 2 mins left to win. it felt good to win again. it had been a while (over a month!!!) we play the top two teams in our region this weekend. hopefully we can play with them and maybe get a result. we'll just have to see...i'm headed home in less than two months...gettin very excited about that. Got my passport this week for my trip to england in may, so thats becoming much more of a reality. getting equally as excited for my trip to boston in just over two months..very excited to see my girlies!!

Into the swing of things!!

Well,
I think I've finally recovered from my amazing summer. Been back for two months...thats how amazing it was. I'm definately missing my CP family, but i have a great life here in Junction. Soccer has been going since the day I got back here. We're not having such a great season record-wise, but I love my team and we're always having a blast. Its a great last season, thats for sure. I'm ready to be done and move on with whatever life has to offer me. Soccer has been a huge part of my life for so long, its going to be weird at first, but I've got some great things planned in my future (including boston in december with my girls!!) I will hopefully try to keep things posted on here to keep you all in touch. Whoever you are!! Anyway, wish me good luck the last three weekends of my soccer life. Long Break, but I'm Back!

Hey everyone!
It's been a long time since my last entry, but I've been busy as a bee. Let me catch you up:
Last week was Spring Break, which was so nice. Our soccer team put on a soccer team for a couple of hours each day. I had the priviledge of coaching a 12-year old team of boys. It was an absolute blast! They were so fun and so energetic. They exhausted me, but I enjoyed it all the same. Camp ended Thursday afternoon (the campers beat us in a scrimage at the end, we went easy) then Chelsea's friend Emily came to visit. She's really awesome, we had tons of fun over the weekend. This weekend, we watched a lot of baseball. And on Sunday, we watched a classic. Our team was down by 4 runs going into the bottom of the night and ended up winning it on a walk-off homerun! It was one of the coolest things I have ever seen in person! Soccer is still going, as always, and we play our first games April 2nd! I can't wait to get back to playing games. We've been lifting and running for 5 months now, it's getting kind of boring.
Also, I have started a program to lose some weight. My dad, step-mom, Toni, Rogie and I are having a contest to see who can lose the most weight by the beginning of May. As of now, I've lost three pounds, in about a week, I still want to lose about seven to eight more pounds, but it will take time. I've also started going to the driving range, getting my golf swing back after a long break. I've gotten better, but still have LOTS to work on! Take care everyone! March 22.

Spring Break!!

Hey Guys!!
Finally spring break has arrived. Its so nice to have a few days off to just hang out and be outside. I know, most of you think my life is pretty casual normally, but soccer and school can be very stressful. Plus living in a house with three other girls...its tough trust me. Saturday was a glorious day of laying outside and playing catch in the yard. Sunday was a wonderful day of watching basketball. The DUKE Blue Devils amaze me each year. They caputured a #1 seed again this year! Anyway, this week of spring break, we (my soccer team) is coaching a camp for young kids a couple of hours a day. The rest of the day we just hang out. Yesterday the weather was crappy so we couldn't be outside, hopefully today will be different. Of course, I'm still workin out for soccer, lifting and running on our own this weekend. Lifting is quite addicting. You all should try it. Its very healthy and feels really good. Rest of the week will pretty much be hangin out, watchin basketball this weekend. Back to school next Monday, but its gettin close to the end of the year, so I really gotta start focusing. take care. March 15.

Hey guys:
Well, its finally wonderful weather in the Grand Valley. I can handle 65 degrees and sunny for the rest of my life. Fortunatly, with the weather change comes a few things: spring practice begins and spring break is only 3 days away! I couldn't be any more happy at this hour. Frisbee golf is wonderful in this type of weather, or our favorite house game would be baseball in the front yard with tequila bottles and burritos. If you have questions, feel free to ask. Today is short because I'm headed to practice and then class, so I don't have much time for chatter. Love you all. Keep truckin.. today is March 8.

Guess Who's Back (Back Again)???

Hey everyone::::
First off, I would like to thank all of those who have commented on my little project here. Its nice to see that you all are interested in whats goin on down here on the Western Slope (what they call their little geographic region here). Its been a busy week, with soccer, school, intermural soccer and basketball playoffs, and our Mav Men's B-ball team playoff game last night, which they won!! GO MAVS! Anyway, its been a couple days since my last entry. This weekend was pretty fun, on Sunday I went and played frisbee golf in the beautiful weather we've had. Then Monday night was soccer game then basketball playoffs for our intermural team (we lost, but it was our best outing of the year). Tuesday night was American Idol and night class. Last night (Wednesday) was our boys basketball playoff game here, which was really exciting and a lot of fun. Today, we did our last Thursday morning running session (just to compare with something most of us understand, each Thursday morning is slightly more painful than Capital High Soccer tryouts, just put it in perspective). So we are super excited. In a more serious note, this morning we watched a video in my social problems class about hate crimes against homosexuals and it was very startling. Now, I'm just hangin out for a while, probably going to take a nap for a couple hours, then its off to practice this afternoon, then Survivor this evening. Love you all, peace be with you! P.S. its march 3, meaning spring break is 8 days away, meaning its that much closer to school being out!! Haleluja (don't know how to spell that, sorry). Love you all.

What a day in the Grand Valley!

Hello again, hello:
Well saturday was another eventful day in the life of me. Woke up, then watched basketball most of the day, including a victory over BYU (little puke in my mouth) by the #12 team in the country, the Runnin' Utes, lead by Andrew "Big Aussie" Bogut. There is my sports report for the day. Next, I went and rewarded myself with a little Old Navy shopping. I got some very cute, very cute, stuff for spring, and it was all from the girls section, which is something you all should be excited about! Anyway, late night run to Applebees for a daquiri and some hot wings finished up the night. Its February 26!

Hey All:
Well, Friday has arrived with absolutely wonderful weather. Good enough for some frisbey golf while wearing shorts!! Its amazing. So after class all day, then some folf with Chels, it was time to begin the evening. I went to dinner with some recruits from Tucson then we took them out to see Junction. I think we enjoyed our night more than they did, but what can you do. We got to hear the music stylings of our friend Kurk (who we like to refer to as Kurk Cobain). Then, some late night Sex and the City capped the night off perfectly. Now, I'm headed to bed for some well needed sleep after the long week. Talk to you tomorrow!! Its February 25th. Signing Out!

Well Hello again, my few and infrequent visitors:
Today is February 24, and finally sunny here in the land of the Monument. This day started as good as ever with a alarm at 6 a.m. and then a three-mile run ending around 7:30 a.m. Couldn't ask for anything more. Besides the side-aches, the sore legs, and the near-heart attack, I survived. Then I was off to class and have the rest of the day off, except soccer practice this afternoon, which is fun anyway. Then later tonight, its studying for Spanish(yes parents I do attend class and study for that matter) and Survivor (insert theme song). This weekends plans are still up for grabs, but hopefully whatever we do is accompanied by sun. Unfortunatly, there isn't any baseball to look forward to :( Thats all for now. Might have something interesting later, might now. For now, enjoy!

February 23: Still Raining in the desert!!

Hello again:
Second day, but has been raining since like forever, at least thats what it seems like. Today's activities included lifting this morning at 6:30 a.m., per usual, class til 2 p.m. then a whole lot of nothing. I'm reading this really great book "The Forgotten Soldier" so if anyone is looking for a new book to read..i strongly suggest it. It keeps me occupied during boring lectures in class. We had a basketball game tonight, intermural of course and since the other team didn't show, we got our second victory of the season (the first came on a no-show as well)! I have to finish a really boring book for social problems tonight, but i'm a speed reader, so i'm not too worried. We recently made a paper chain to count down the days left til school gets out (76 days and counting!!). Signing out for today, got reading and sleeping to do. Nighty Night!!

So today is February 22, I begin my entries today. Its chilly here in the desert. Its about 45 degrees here today, mostly cloudy. Anyway, since this is the first day of the journal, I don't have much to report since yesterday's journal, since there wasn't one.

This weekend we had Winter Break, so we had yesterday and today off from school. I was going to coach a keeper camp yesterday, but no one showed up due to the Holiday. Chelsea(my roommate)'s boyfriend came this weekend to visit so that was fun. Danya (other roommate)'s boyfriend also came to visit this weekend, but they went camping so we haven't seen much of them.

I think we are planning on going Folfing this afternoon before Doug (boyfriend of roommate) leaves. Then its back to school tomorrow!

Well everyone:
I have heard about this blogger thing for a couple weeks now and my dear friend Kirsten has got me hooked. I figure its the best way for me to get whats going on here out to all of you. I hope you enjoy. So for my first blog, I am going to give some of you a summary of my life at the moment. I am going to Mesa State College in Grand Junction Colorado as a Sports Management major. I'm still playing soccer, well I have one more season left. I live in a house across from campus with three other soccer girls. This summer I will be out of the region, working at a summer camp for girls in Maine. It's February 22.
